Road Construction Map Information
North Dakota Highway Patrol sent this bulletin at 06/17/2020 08:56 AM CDT
All permits require you check the NDDOT road map for possible routing issues. In order to avoid confusion, we wanted to let you know how to navigate the new map.
When looking for construction zones and spring load restrictions please make sure you go down to Commercial Vehicle Information. You will need to click the plus button. See Photo 1 for sample.
After you click on commercial vehicle information you will want to move the oversize/overweight or load restrictions toggle to the right. You can click on the yellow for size restrictions information or roadway for load restrictions. Once the restriction shows on the right side you will need to open it to view the width, height and length restrictions. See Photo 2 for sample.
The message box that used to be in the top right hand corner, now looks like an email. You are required to click on that to read messages. This is where you can find notes such as no oversize loads in the NW Region until further notice.
