Please update any Outlook rules, filters, or folders that use the old email. We've shared this information on our public site as well for residents and customers who receive auto replies from Laserfiche Forms. Feel free to share this message if you get questions about the change.

Upcoming Strategic Alignment to Strengthen Technology-Related Initiatives

The County is realigning three Information Technology positions to the Strategy & Innovation team within the County Manager’s Office beginning in FY27. This strategic shift will better integrate technology with enterprise initiatives - helping accelerate projects, improve efficiency and support process improvement across departments. Read more about the plan on County Connect.

Cybersecurity Tip of the Month

Toll Texts with QR Codes

If you receive a text claiming you owe a traffic toll or fine, especially one threatening arrest, stop and verify before taking any action.

Scammers are sending messages that appear to be official court notices, complete with seals, case numbers, and QR codes. In reality, these QR code links lead to fraudulent payment sites designed to steal your financial information.

How to Protect Yourself

  1. QR Codes. Do not scan QR codes from unexpected or unknown messages.
  2. Be Cautious. Be cautious of urgent or threatening language demanding immediate payment.
  3. Legal Notices. Understand that legitimate legal notices are delivered by mail or in person, not by text.
  4. If a message pressures you to act quickly and scan a code, treat it as suspicious and verify through trusted sources.
