To support staff health and preparedness, Union County Public Health will host an optional drive-thru measles vaccination and immunity testing clinic this Friday, Feb. 6, from 2-6 p.m., at Human Services, 2330 Concord Ave., Monroe. Please enter through the employee parking side on Skyway Dr.
This opportunity is being offered to help ensure employees know their measles immunity status and are protected ahead of potential exposure. The drive-thru is available to Union County employees who need an MMR vaccine or would like measles immunity testing (IgG titers) to confirm immunity.
Services Offered
MMR vaccinations. No immediate out-of-pocket cost. Patients with insurance will be billed for charges not covered by insurance.
Measles antibody blood testing (titers). $68 fee for immunity testing and can be billed to insurance/Medicaid.
The clinic will operate as a drive-thru, allowing participants to remain in their vehicles for a safe and efficient experience. Please bring a photo ID and insurance card. Wearing short sleeves is recommended.
At this time, Union County does not have a confirmed measles case. However, Public Health is preparing for such an event following the issuance of 170+ quarantine orders.
