From the County Manager: Remembering Juan Becerra

Colleagues,

I regretfully need to share that Juan Becerra, a supervisor within Human Services, has passed away.

Juan led our Language Services team within Business Operations, ensuring Human Services clients receive excellent customer service, regardless of their primary language. He had been with Union County for almost six years. Before joining us full-time in 2019, he was a contracted interpreter.

Juan was a proud Puerto Rican native and always had a welcoming smile and helpful attitude. He was a light in every language. All who knew him will miss him dearly.

Once memorial arrangements are finalized, Human Services leadership will share the details.

Please keep Juan’s family, friends and coworkers in your thoughts during this difficult time.
