We’re excited to share details about our Employee Health & Wellness Center, opening July 1 and available exclusively to Union County employees, retirees, spouses, and dependents who are covered under the County’s health plan.
The Employee Health & Wellness Center, operated by Atrium Health, provides same-day or next-day care, wellness visits, common prescriptions, and behavioral health services – all with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
Located conveniently at 412 East Franklin Street in Monroe (next to A Cause for Tea), the center offers high-quality, easy-to-access care in a newly renovated facility. We invite you to come see it for yourself during an open house event on Friday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – more details will be shared soon.
Services at the center include:

Preventive and primary care

Sick visits and treatment for minor injuries

Chronic condition management

Lab work and immunizations

Behavioral health services (all day Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings, Thursday afternoons)

Pediatric care for dependents age six months and older for sick visits.

Pediatric care for dependents age two years and older for well visits.

Medications dispensed on-site at no charge
Please note: Medications provided directly at the center will be free of charge. If a prescription is issued to be filled at an outside pharmacy, normal pharmacy plan costs will apply.
