Passport to Adventure Summer Camp
Give your child a summer they’ll never forget, a globe-trotting experience without ever leaving town! Each week, campers will explore a new part of the world through hands-on activities, games, crafts, and cultural fun. Join the town of Indian Trail weekly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, June 9, at the Indian Trail Town Hall. The cost is $240 per week, and you can register online!

National Trails Day
Join the town of Waxhaw for a free guided hike on Saturday, June 7, starting at 9 a.m. Meet us at HC Nesbit Park Trailhead. All ages are welcome, but children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
A Golden Day
Join the town of Stallings for the ultimate birthday party as we celebrate 50 incredible years of our community! Meet us at Stallings Municipal Park from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 24. Bring your family, friends and neighbors to join in the fun as we honor this golden milestone with laughter, joy and community spirit.
Lifetime Park Access for Seniors
Union County residents aged 65 and older can obtain a Senior Pass for free lifetime access to Cane Creek Park. Non-residents can enjoy the same lifetime benefit for just $5.
The Senior Pass is a physical document that you must fill out in person. Please bring your driver’s license or other form of official identification when obtaining the Senior Pass.

Cane Creek Beach Opens for the Summer Season
Cane Creek Park’s day-use beach is now open from 11 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. throughout the summer. The campground beach will also be open Saturday and Sunday this weekend and will operate on Fridays and Saturdays for the rest of the season. Pack your sunscreen, grab your towel, and enjoy summer fun at Cane Creek Park!
