From the County Manager: Government Center Incident

Colleagues,

I want to make you aware of an incident that occurred at the Government Center. It appears that gunshots were fired into two windows at the back of the building sometime outside of regular business hours. Fortunately, no one was in the affected area at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Law enforcement is actively investigating the situation, and we are cooperating fully to support their work. At this time, there is no indication of a continued threat to employees or the public.

We understand that incidents like this can be concerning. Please know that your safety remains our top priority, and we will continue to provide updates as appropriate.
