Litter Loaner Kits - Now Available!

Litter pickup

Would your school or PTO like to organize a litter clean-up event before the start of the school year?

Union County Solid Waste offers free litter loaner kits to area businesses, schools and community groups to use in their litter clean-up events.

These kits include safety vests, litter grabbers, disposable gloves, and trash bags. Business owners or managers can use these kits to clean up litter near their businesses, or neighborhood or HOA groups can use them for community beautification days. Our Solid Waste staff will take the litter you collect for free.

As a bonus incentive: with your permission, Union County may feature your organization in our official communications to show our thanks for your participation in this effort. Visit our website to submit an interest form.

New Stoplight in Wesley Chapel

The stoplight is not yet operational, but drivers are encouraged to drive with caution in this area as traffic adjusts to changes at the intersection. According to information released by the Village of Wesley Chapel, the stoplight will be in place temporarily until a roundabout can be installed at this location.
