Early Voting Underway

Early voting is available now through Saturday, March 2, 2024, for the primary election. Union County residents can go to any of the early voting sites to cast their ballot. Voters may click here to check their registration, address, election day precinct and view their sample ballot. The statewide primary election will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Pay Delinquent Property Taxes by Feb. 29, 2024

The Union County Tax Office mailed delinquent tax notices at the beginning of February. Any delinquent taxes must be paid by Feb. 29, 2024. If delinquent taxes are not paid, they will be advertised as required by law. There are multiple options to pay delinquent property taxes: By mail: Mail your check using the return envelope in your tax bill or mail to P.O. Box 38, Monroe, NC 28111 By drop box: Located on Stewart St. Extension behind the Historic Post Office By phone: 855.497.0718 Online: https://unionnc.devnetwedge.com/  In person: Pay at the Tax Collector’s office on the first floor of the Union County Government Center Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you have additional questions about paying delinquent taxes, call the Tax Office at 704.283.3746.
