Employees have a new and efficient way to access Union County-branded printed materials such as business cards, brochures, name tags, letterheads, envelopes, post-it notes, and more.
Public Communications is launching the new UC Print Shop to offer a convenient, user-friendly resource that features an immediate proof for personalized business cards and allows employees to use a purchasing card to place an order. Employees can easily find it under the "Employee Resources" menu on County Connect or by using the Employee Resource Finder on the County Connect homepage.
Because the employee print shop is integrated with our network, only county employees who are on the network may access it. Read more about the new UC Print Shop.

Union County will implement a grant management system called eCivis in the next seven to eight months as an easier and more convenient way to manage and find grants. eCivis offers various services and will create a streamlined process across all departments. Each department will choose a "department representative" to serve as the grant manager and eCivis administrator to keep the county's grants team informed and to help the county seek funding opportunities to support our residents. Training will start in March via NEOGOV. Learn more here.

County Manager Brian Matthews has rescinded the previously implemented Stage 1 water restriction plan as a result of recent substantial rainfall across the region. Due to regional drought conditions last fall, Union County has been in a heightened state of water conservation since November 2023. At that time, Matthews directed staff to implement Stage 1 of water use restrictions as described in the county’s Water Shortage Response Plan. On Jan. 22, Matthews directed staff to shift back to Stage 0 of water conservation restrictions. Read the full story on County Connect.
