Timesheets Due Thursday

All Employees: Complete your timesheet no later than Thursday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. Time off should be recorded for the Dec. 2-15 pay period.

Supervisors: Please approve timesheets for your employees by 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14.

If you have timesheet questions, email payroll.


From Finance: Munis Temporarily Unavailable Dec. 12

Munis will be unavailable temporarily on Tuesday, Dec. 12, beginning at 2 p.m. for the fiscal year-end roll process. There will be no access to Munis during this time. This process will take several hours. Users will regain access before 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Please email Beverly Liles with any questions.

Bright Ideas Challenge: Name Our Chat Feature

Bright Ideas

We have a new Bright Ideas challenge for you! Public Communications will be adding a chat tool to our public website in the next couple months that will allow users to ask questions about county government services and find information on our website. 

This is where your creativity comes in! Help us choose a name for our new chatbot! Keep in mind the Union County brand, as the chatbot will be in the shape of the leaf from our main logo. Read more about the challenge and find out the reward for the employee who submits the winning entry.

Fire Marshal Kevin Rigoli & K9 Camden To Retire Together

After decades of commitment to public safety, Union County Fire Marshal Kevin Rigoli and accelerant detection K9 Camden, an inseparable duo in the field of fire investigation, have announced their upcoming retirements. Kevin's retirement is slated for January 31, 2024, and Camden's on January 1, 2024. Following Rigoli's retirement, Jon Williams will serve as Union County Fire Marshal.

New Overflow Parking for Government Center

There is a new overflow parking option for the Government Center. The address is 304 Jefferson Street. Click here or on the map to the right to view larger. Employees may park here when the rear lot is full.

Last Week for Food Drive

Food Drive fall 2023

It's the last week to donate non-expired food items to support the Human Services Food Pantry!

Click here for a list of suggested items to donate. High-priority items include canned meats, canned vegetables and soups. Drop off donations by Friday. Dec. 15, in designated boxes on the ground floor of Human Services, the Government Center, and at the Sheriff's Office.


Volunteer With the Christmas Bureau

Please consider volunteering your time to help the Christmas Bureau provide gifts and food for children ages 18 and younger in Union County.

Sign up to volunteer through Dec. 21. Opportunities include assisting with toy sorting, matching and distribution at the new Christmas Bureau location, 2520 W Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe. For distribution days, scroll all the way down. Eligible employees receive 16 hours each calendar year to volunteer. Visit the Volunteer Time Off page on County Connect for the request form and list of approved agencies.
