Must Do's This Week

Timesheets Due Thursday

All Employees: Complete your timesheet no later than Thursday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. Time off should be recorded for the Nov. 18 - Dec. 1 pay period.

Supervisors: Please approve timesheets for your employees by 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 30.

Reminder: Employees no longer need to submit time for observed holiday hours under the holiday field on timesheets. Holiday hours will be submitted automatically on each eligible employee’s timecard during the payroll process. Employees should only enter time for actual hours worked on observed holiday hours under the regular hour field and complete the Holiday Worked Submission Form.

Holiday Gift From Commissioners | Safe Email Alert

Union County Christmas Bureau: Ways You Can Help

Christmas Bureau

Please consider volunteering your time or donating much-needed gifts and food for children age 18 and younger in Union County. There are several ways to give back:

Volunteer
Sign up to volunteer through Dec. 21
Opportunities include assisting with toy sorting, matching and distribution at the new Christmas Bureau location, 2520 W Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe.

Donate Toys, Gifts or Stocking Stuffers
Unwrapped gifts are needed now! Pick up empty stockings and drop off unwrapped gifts and stuffed stockings at 2520 W Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, any weekday between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. until Dec. 9.

Sponsor a Child/Family
Sponsor one or more families by emailing christmas@unioncountync.gov or calling 704.296.4312. All donations are due at the Christmas Bureau between Dec. 9 and 14 (depending on the type of sponsorship).

Giving Tree - Employees can adopt a child or senior/adult or disabled adult from the Giving Tree. Pull the tag from the tree at the Human Services building, located by the employee elevator on the first floor. Scan the QR Code and enter your adoptee's details. Return your new, unwrapped gifts to the WIC area at Human Services (2nd floor) by Wednesday, Dec. 6. 

Canned Food Drive: Last Day - Dec. 15
