Festive Tales & Crafty Fun

Festive Tales & Crafty Fun

Get ready for a jolly good time with Stallings Parks and Recreation! Come to Stallings Government Center on Tuesday, Dec. 5 & 19, from 6-7 p.m. for a magical evening filled with enchanted storytelling by Mrs. Claus, and an ornament decorating station to bring a new addition to your tree! Cocoa & Carols

Cocoa and Carols

Bring your family and friends and join the Village of Wesley Chapel for Cocoa & Carols on Saturday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Dogwood Park. Activities include free s'more roasting over a bonfire, warm beverages, a holiday trail, face painting, great food, and many kid-friendly activities. Parking will be at Southbrook Church.

Christmas Parades 

Christmas Parade

Wear your best holiday attire and attend Indian Trail Parks and Recreation's annual Christmas parade on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. The parade will travel down Indian Trail Road from Post Office Drive to Old Monroe Road. For more information, visit Indian Trail's website

 

Waxhaw Christmas Parade

Waxhaw Parks and Recreation will be having their Christmas Parade on Sunday Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Waxhaw Christmas Parade will feature more than 75 festive floats, local businesses, schools, and members of the community. For more information, visit Waxhaw's website.

Donate & Volunteer This Holiday Season

Become one of the hundreds of individuals, groups, and families who come together to help local families in need during the holiday season.


Ways You Can Help

Volunteer roles include administrative, volunteer coordination, and sorting & distributing donations.

General help and toy sorting will end on Dec. 20. Prep for distribution begins on Dec. 14. The first distribution date is Dec. 16 and ends Dec. 21.

Fill Stockings

Pick up empty stockings and drop off unwrapped gifts and stuffed stockings at 2520 W Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, from Nov. 20 - Dec. 8, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Cane Creek Park is FREE to enter through Feb. 28, 2024.
