On behalf of the Union County Board of Commissioners and Chairman Stony D. Rushing’s family, we regretfully share that Chairman Rushing passed away Tuesday evening after a courageous battle with health issues over the past year.
Stony Rushing was a dedicated public servant and long-serving member of the Union County Board of Commissioners. Chairman Rushing loved Union County and was passionate about serving this community. His contributions to Union County have been immeasurable and will leave a lasting impact. Please join us in praying for his wife Anne-Marie and their two children.
