Beat the Summer Heat

When temperatures soar, be prepared if needed with these easy steps:

  • Identify places in your community where you can go to cool off, like our day use beach.
  • Know the signs of heat-related illness and how to respond.
  • Build an emergency supply kit ready for extreme heat conditions. Start with items you may already have at home like a flashlight, batteries, and water.
