Union County Celebrates Completion of Board of Elections Building Expansion
The Union County Board of Elections and county leaders celebrated the completion of a significant building expansion project for the Board of Elections office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
The expanded facility will allow staff to serve the needs of our growing community better. It includes both renovations to the previous office space, as well as a new attached facility that provides space to securely store voting equipment, a multipurpose room, a loading dock, enhanced building security, and more.

Public Health Now Offering Books at Well-Child Visits
Union County Public Health has recently introduced a new program called "Reach Out and Read" as part of regular pediatric checkups. Pediatric healthcare providers will advise parents about the importance of reading aloud and giving developmentally appropriate books to children.
