Updated Procurement Policy
Updates Related to P-Cards and Purchase Orders
The Board of County Commissioners adopted an updated Procurement Policy and the Union County Federal Transit Authority (FTA) Policy. View or download these policies on County Connect.
The updated policy that is now in effect includes changes to the limits for the following, among other changes:
- Purchase orders must now be secured for purchases of $5,000 or more.
- The standard P-Card single transaction limit will be raised from $2,500 per purchase to $5,000 from approved department P-Card representatives. Departments must have available funds if they choose to increase their monthly limit in addition to their single transaction limit. To request a single transaction P-Card limit increase, contact Erick Perjuste, Procurement Specialist.
