Marvin Day

Marvin Day

The Village of Marvin will be hosting their annual "Marvin Day" celebration on Saturday, June 3. Join the fun starting at 7 a.m. at Marvin Elementary School with a Health Fair, a 5K race, Fun Run, and Blood Drive. The party then shifts to Marvin-Efird Park for the remainder of the day, featuring a dunk tank, animal exhibits, activities for the kids, disc golf clinics, a concert, and fireworks display! Family Fun Day 

Family Fun Day

Indian Trail Parks and Recreation is hosting a "Family Fun Day" on Saturday, June 3 from 2-9:30 p.m. Come to Crooked Creek Park and join the fun, including food trucks, free carnival rides, 50+ vendors, music, entertainment shows, and a fireworks show! Wingate Summer Fun Festival

Wingate Summer Fun Festival

The Town of Wingate is hosting a "Summer Fun Festival" on Saturday, June 3 from 5-9 p.m. Come to Wingate University Lake for some fun for the whole family, including inflatables, face painting, balloon twisters, food vendors, and a fireworks show! Soccer Mini-Camp

Soccer Mini-Camp

Juneteenth Celebrations

Juneteenth

Waxhaw will be hosting their second annual Juneteenth Celebration in the Downtown Waxhaw Community Corner on Saturday, June 17 from noon-4 p.m.  For more information visit Waxhaw's website


Monroe will be having their annual Juneteenth Family Fun Festival at Belk Tonawanda Park, Saturday, June 17, from 3-7 p.m. Live music, food, vendors, and amusement rides will be available.

Community Extras

Cane Creek Park Activities Hours

Mini-golf and pedal boats at Cane Creek Park will be open during the week starting June 12 from 11 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Cane Creek Beach Opening Day

Cane Creek Beach is scheduled to open June 14 with a modified schedule and will be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
