We are pleased to announce the kick-off of the latest Classification & Compensation Study for Union County. McGrath Human Resources Consulting Group is reviewing the County’s compensation and classification structure and benefits package, as well as assessing our competitive market position against other public and private entities for enhancement opportunities over the next few months. The organization is committed to remaining competitive in the labor market to attract and retain qualified and engaged employees by conducting studies periodically. Our partnership with McGrath to complete this study will allow us to gain insight into recommended updates to keep our organization moving forward.
One of the first steps in this process is to hear from employees about their job responsibilities. Directors have selected employees to complete a position questionnaire to detail current essential job functions of their positions. Only one completed position questionnaire is necessary for each job class. As a result, not all employees will receive or submit a questionnaire. Employees selected to complete a questionnaire will receive an email on Monday, May 1, from McGrath Human Resources Consulting Group from the email address comp360@mcgrathconsulting.com. This email is safe to open and should not be reported through Phish Alert. Completed questionnaires are due by Friday, May 12. Deadlines and information about completing the position questionnaire can be reviewed here. Once your questionnaire is submitted, it will be reviewed by your department management by May 26, before submission to the consulting group.
