Union County Deputy Receives School Resource Officer of the Year Award

 Free Play at Wingate University
Wingate University will present the Allison Gregory play, “Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook,” based off of the best-selling children’s books by Barbara Park on Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m. The public shows will be held in Austin Auditorium. Admission is free, but tickets are required and can be reserved at wingate.edu/life-at-wingate/events/tickets.
Wonders of Science at South Piedmont Community College
Explore the fields of science, math, engineering, and technology through an interactive open house at South Piedmont Community College (4221 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe) on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free and open to all ages 10 & up. This event is one of hundreds of science-focused events held throughout North Carolina as part of the NC SciFest.
