Indian Trail Parks and Recreation is hosting an art class themed with fall/Halloween décor for adults! Come out on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Indian Trail Town Hall and enjoy a fun craft for ages 18 and older. Visit Indian Trail's website for registration information.

Firefighters for the cure 5K Race

Join Safe Kids and Union County Parks and Recreation for the Firefighters For The Cure, 5K Color Run on Saturday, Oct. 8! Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. For details and how to register, click here.

Hits After Six

Indian Trail Parks and Recreation is hosting a Hits After Six event on Thursday, Oct. 13 at Chestnut Square Park. Come out from 6-9 p.m. to see a live jazz performance by Tyris. For more information, visit the Facebook Event page.

Mutt Strut 5K 

Mutt Strut

In partnership with Union County Parks and Recreation, The Humane Society of Union County is hosting a 5K run/walk at Cane Creek Park on Saturday, Oct. 15. Bring your furry friends out for a fun day at the park with vendors, a K-9 Demo, 50/50 raffle, a costume contest, and pets available for adoption. Halloween Happenings

The City of Monroe will be hosting a fun Halloween celebration on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Enjoy cotton candy, candy apples, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, bounce houses, arts and crafts, games, and a costume contest! Halloween Spooktacular

Indian Trail is hosting a "Halloween Spooktacular" on Friday, Oct. 21 from 6-9 p.m. Put on your costumes and head out for Trunk-or-Treat for some sweets! For more information, visit the Facebook Event page..

Movie Night

Hocus Pocus

In partnership with Union County Parks and Recreation, the Village of Marvin will be hosting a movie night and trick-or-treat event on Friday, Oct. 28. Be sure to bring a chair or a blanket to Marvin Efird Park for the showing of "Hocus Pocus" at dusk along with trick-or-treating, music, inflatables, refreshments, and crafts. Activities will begin at 5 p.m.

Cane Creek Park pedal boats and mini golf will be open on weekends from noon - 5 p.m., staff availability permitting.
