The annual open enrollment period for the Colonial Benefits Plan will be Jan. 4-29.
Elections made during this enrollment period will be effective for the March 1, 2021 through Feb. 28, 2022 plan year. We are pleased to announce that during this year’s annual enrollment Colonial Life’s Medical Bridge, Short-Term Disability and Critical Illness will be offered on a guaranteed issue basis - no health questions.
Information Sessions: To learn more about the benefits available through Colonial or if you intend to make changes to your current Colonial benefits, please plan to attend one of the following virtual plan briefings. In this virtual briefing, all updates and changes to Colonial Benefits will be covered. Registration is not required. Click on the links below during the designated time to access the virtual briefing.
Individual Appointments: Benefits Counselors will be available to assist you in selecting your benefits through a one-on-one virtual enrollment experience. Click here to reserve an appointment with a Benefits Counselor. Appointments are available Jan. 8, 12, 20, 28 and 29.
Self-Enroll: Click here to self-enroll in any of the available benefits. Please use the instructions found in the benefits booklet to complete.
Please Note: It is your responsibility to complete your Colonial benefits enrollment and confirm your elections for the next benefits plan year. Elections made during this enrollment period may not be changed during the plan year. The only exception is for a family status change as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. A plan change due to a family status change must be initiated within 30 days of the qualifying event.
