LEA Administrative Action Planning for Empowering Staff Well-Being, Mental Health and Resilience: What’s working and where do we go from here?
*The first cohort raved about this session - you do not want to miss! *
When: August 5th, in person, all-day
Where: MAHEC Education Building, 121 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville NC 28803
School leadership across North Carolina recognize that student success depends on a healthy and happy workforce. This one-day interactive strategy session allows administrators across North Carolina an opportunity to collaborate as they seek to better understand the challenges Local Education Agency (LEA) employees have faced throughout the last few years, share ideas, and develop best practices and an action plan to support the overall well-being of staff moving forward. To sustain these efforts and provide individualized support, this strategy session will be followed up with small group coaching session(s).
Learning Objectives: Participants will:
- Discuss challenges and learnings with peers in supporting school staff well-being throughout the COVID pandemic
- Identify successful practices and resources in supporting employee mental well-being moving forward
- Create a sustainable and realistic district action plan to enhance current staff support measures
We’re looking for LEA teams of 2-5 school administrators or their designees to spend the day dedicated to strengthening district support for their employees’ mental health and well-being.
This is a great opportunity in Asheville on August 5th for a small team from your district to create a manageable and realistic plan to build on your existing supports for staff mental health and wellbeing. There are limited spots, so it’s in your best interest to register your team ASAP.
If it helps your decision-making, MAHEC has negotiated low hotel rates right near their offices. It’s on a Friday, and the mountains are gorgeous in the summer!
