Glimpse of GLAD eLearning Course

This e-Learning opportunity is dedicated to building academic language and literacy for all students, especially English learners (ELs). The Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD®) strategies enhance teachers’ design and delivery of standards-based instruction through an integrated approach to content and English language development (ELD). Our new Glimpse of GLAD® e-Learning course is uniquely designed so trainers can model the strategies live using online tools. We will offer a Q & A session each day so that participants can confidently implement strategies in their online classrooms as we continue to navigate remote learning. Participants need to come with a standard, concept or unit idea in mind that they would like to use while they are exploring GLAD® strategies.

There is no charge for this opportunity, but we have limited spots. Sign up today. Attendees will receive an email confirmation with more directions. 

Participants are required to attend the four sessions. The course is typically delivered in two days face to face and is developed to provide participants opportunities to collaborate as they learn the strategies. Missing any of the sessions will result in gaps in understanding and impact participant interaction. No partial credit will be issued.
