America the Bilingual has just released Episode #42 North Carolina: A Dual-Language Success Story! This podcast showcases the success North Carolina has experienced with dual language/immersion (DL/I) programs and highlights the co-valedictorians who were part of the first kindergarten DL/I class in Chatham County Schools at Siler City Elementary in 2004-2005. The podcast also includes educators discussing the importance of language education.
