WIDA Self-Paced Online Workshops

ESL/Title III at the NC Department of Public Instruction is pleased to offer new self-paced online workshops. WIDA has designed four (4) learning opportunities that educators can complete at their own pace, anywhere and at anytime. These workshops offer content that can be implemented right away to support English learners! 

This initiative is part of the WIDA eLearning pilot. NC educators interested in completing one or more of the courses can login to the WIDA eLearning Portal with unlimited access to the following four, self-paced e-Workshops in Canvas. WIDA provides a certificate for the total number of hours upon completion.

• Leading for Equity: Classroom Walkthrough

I DO currently have a WIDA Secure Portal Account 1. Go to portal.wida.us 2. Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD 3. Click the “WIDA eLearning Center” tile to view the available courses and get going! 4. Complete any of the available courses and submit the survey to receive a certificate for your participation.

I DO NOT currently have a WIDA Secure Portal Account 1. Complete this registration form 2. You will receive an email with your USERNAME and link to set your PASSWORD. 3. Once you set your PASSWORD, you see a confirmation screen. Click the login link and enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD. 4. Next, you see the WIDA Secure Portal landing page. Click the “WIDA eLearning Center” tile to view the available courses and get going! 5. Complete any of the available courses and submit the survey to receive a certificate for your participation.
