EXCITING NEWS RE: MTSS ECATS MODULE

Members of the Integrated Academics and Behavior Systems (IABS) team are working tirelessly, along with a team of professionals from Public Consulting Group (PCG), to build a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Module within the Every Child Accountability Tracking System (ECATS).  This FREE module within the statewide tracking system will provide districts/schools a platform that will interface data from numerous sources to build an Early Warning System that will quickly identify students who are at risk, capture all general education interventions, and facilitate the analysis of data to make efficient and effective decisions.  The module will include numerous planning and reporting tools that compliment and support the framework of MTSS.  

A pdf with an embedded, brief video, along with a one-page document that gives an overview of the ECATS MTSS Module, have been developed as communication tools for you to share within your district/school.  Please use as you deem appropriate.  

We are excited about the ECATS MTSS Module and the potential it has for school improvement across the state.  We welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and questions.  Please send ECATS project related inquires to ECATS.INFO@DPI.NC.GOV.
