Home Base Symposium 2017

Symposium Session Highlight

Become a King or Queen for the day!  Your district and the state set multiple deadlines each year for different components of the NCEES process.

You would like to keep your principals and superintendent informed about completion percentages ranging from Evaluation Progress Reports to login statistics, and from Orientation dates to PDP Signature Completion rates.  But how do you easily export this date and manipulate it in Microsoft Excel to share this data?

In the session “How to Become the King or Queen of NCEES Reporting” you will learn about eight different NCEES reports that you should be running throughout the school year and tie them to target dates on your yearly NCEES timeline.

Register today to “PLUG IN & CONNECT” at this year’s Home Base Symposium.

North Carolina Student Surveys

Free Student Surveys are available to all grade 3-12 North Carolina teachers. Surveys will be administered in March and April of 2017. Visit our Wiki or email educatoreffectiveness@dpi.nc.gov for more information.

Quick Tips

Classrooms for Teachers

In the Instructional Materials section of the Classrooms, there are a variety of student resources in the “SAS” tab. When you are in “Instructional materials,” click on the “Search” button to do a blank search. Click on the “SAS” tab and use the “Audience” filter to see “Student” materials.

Classrooms for Leadership

In the Instructional Materials section of the Classrooms, you will notice the resources on the SAS tab! This tab has great student interactive materials that you can highlight with teachers based on their needs for lesson plans and activities.

Upcoming Professional Learning

Check with your district level Schoolnet lead (click here). They will determine if they have the staff to provide the professional learning or if they need to request a district training. If the lead can host a district training, please have them to contact a DTL Regional Consultant for more details.
