Discovering Schoolnet
Resources for Lesson Plans
We hope you enjoyed your time with loved ones for Thanksgiving. As we return to school, Schoolnet would like to highlight two resources available in Schoolnet for teachers.
If you were not aware, two NC programs, the Governor’s Teacher Network and Teachers @ Work, provide several standards aligned lesson plans for NC Teachers.
You can access these resources by following this click path ...“Classrooms,” “Instructional Materials,” click “Search,” then on the left hand side, searching for the “Publisher” as GTN or Teachers@Work.

Quick Tips
Homepage for Teachers
In the “Recent Assessments” area in the middle of the Homepage, click the word “Upcoming Test.” Here you will find a list of all upcoming assessments with a “Proctor Dashboard icon” to monitor your students, test names, passcodes and test stages.
Homepage for Leadership
In the “Recent Assessments” area you can use the same process. After selecting the school and teacher, from the “My Classrooms” area, the option to select “Upcoming test” will appear.
Upcoming Professional Learning
Check with your district level Schoolnet lead (click here). They will determine if they have the staff to provide the professional learning or if they need to request a district training. If the lead can host a district training, please have them to contact a DTL Regional Consultant for more details.
Click here to find information from past postings.
Need help? You may also have your LEA/District Schoolnet Lead contact the Home Base Support Center through the Remedy web portal https://nc-myit.us.onbmc.com or (919) 807-4357.
