PC Construction Company Receives Bid For Phase 3 Expansion at Neuse River Wastewater Treatment Plant
PC Construction Company Inc. today received a bid for approximately $25.6 million for the third phase of the expansion of the Neuse River Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project will include the complete replacement of the existing rectangular primary clarifiers and the addition of primary clarifier capacity to accommodate the eventual expansion of the plant capacity to 75 million gallons per day. Other work will include improving six biological nutrient removal basins, replacing screen handling equipment, installing three additional vertical turbine solids handling pumps, and associated construction work.
Small Disadvantaged Minority and Women Owned Business Program participation is estimated to be 7.4 percent.
