Exploring A Delicious Country with Scott Huler  

March 7th 10am - 12pm
Walnut Creek Wetlands Center

Starting at the Walnut Creek Wetlands Center, Scott Huler, author of A Delicious Country, will take you on a walk along the Greenway to the old E.B. Bain Water Treatment Plant. An ecologist will be on hand to talk about the ecosystem, and guides to talk about the old Bain plant, too. The walk will be 2 miles total, so everyone can come. Come join us! City of Raleigh Museum

​A 3 course dinner experience by female chefs of Raleigh. The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum is hosting a year-long celebration of the 19th amendment and women’s impact on Raleigh. In celebration of March as Women's History Month, the museum is presenting an exclusive dining experience. Raleigh’s notable female chefs to tell the stories of their lives and cuisine over signature crafted dishes - including Melanie Dunia of The Pit and Sophia Woo of MOFU Shoppe, and Zwelibanzi Williams of Zweli's.

 Raleigh Trolley

Moore Square Mondays on the Historic Raleigh Trolley

The Historic Raleigh Trolley is excited to add tours from Moore Square starting in March! In addition to the regularly scheduled trolley tours departing from Mordecai Historic Park on Saturdays, join us aboard the trolley at Moore Square on Mondays.

Tours will depart from Moore Square on Mondays, March through May, at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Enjoy a narrated tour of downtown Raleigh aboard the Raleigh Trolley. Highlights include: Blount Street Historic District, Mordecai Historic Park, Warehouse District, Fayetteville Street, and more!

Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 youth (7-17) and children 6 and under) are free. Tours last approximately 1 hour. The trolley is enclosed and air-conditioned and tours are rain or shine. Call 919-996-6486 or Visit the Moore Square Visitor Center for tickets and information.

Brunch Moore Market

Moore Square is pleased to announce a partnership with the Raleigh Night Market team to produce a series of Brunch Markets in the newly renovated downtown urban park.  
The new concept will feature over 50 local artisans. Food trucks and food vendors will be on-site serving brunch options. Live music and a kids zone will provide entertainment for the whole family.

About the Market

Moore Square Market features local vendors with farm-fresh produce, meat, dairy, and eggs, baked goods, artisanal foods, and craft products. The Market is hosted every Wednesday from 5:00pm-8:00pm starting May 13 through October 7 and also features weekly entertainment, educational programming, and special events. The Market is managed by Downtown Raleigh Alliance and the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department. The Market's hours of operation are 5:00pm-8:00pm.
