5-Year Plan Update Meeting: Consolidated Plan Draft
Please come hear how the City’s Housing and Neighborhoods Department plans to spend federal and local funds in our community over the next 5 years. Information on the DRAFT 5-Year Consolidated Plan and DRAFT 1-Year Annual Action Plan will be presented. Each DRAFT was shaped by feedback received through a series of community meetings and survey responses.
The 5-Year Draft Plan Includes: • Goals and Objectives • Building affordable apartments for low-income residents • Locating affordable housing near transit • Workforce Training Program • Geographic priority areas within the City • Update to the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area Plan • Updates to the Citizen Participation Plan • Grants to help the homeless & vulnerable populations • And more!

The 5-Year Consolidated Plan draft will be posted on the 5-Year Plan webpage, and paper copies will be available at our office (421 Fayetteville St, Suite 1200, Raleigh NC, 27601), for review from March 1 - April 1, 2020. Comments can be written and sent to our office or emailed to cd.info@Raleighnc.gov.
The Public Hearing at Raleigh Municipal Building on April 7 (pending) after 7 pm- Voice your comments about the draft plan to City Council.
