There are no indications that anyone is currently trapped inside of the building.
The information immediately below was distributed at 11:32 p.m. March 16:
Shortly after 10 p.m., Raleigh Fire and Police Department personnel responded to the 400 block of W. North Street in connection with a multi-alarm fire.
The main building that is engulfed is currently under construction. Preliminary information is that there are no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
