Community Briefing Meetings
Southern Gateway
Corridor Study
S. Saunders and S. Wilmington Streets
After a year of planning and design efforts and hosting more than eight public meetings and several CAC briefings, the draft report of the Southern Gateway Corridor Study will be ready for review soon and we want your feedback.
The Raleigh Urban Design Center will host community meetings to brief interested residents and businesses on the recommendations of the study report. Two community briefing sessions with similar format will be held.

Meeting Schedule:
Tuesday, July 12, 2016
6:30-8:00 p.m.
Wake Tech Public Safety Campus
321 Chapanoke Road, Room 1425
Tuesday, July 19, 2016
6:30-8:00 p.m.
John P. “Top” Greene Community Center
401 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

Staff and consultants will provide map displays and an overview presentation followed by question-and-answer session. Attendees will have an opportunity to pose questions and provide feedback on proposed improvements that focus on S. Saunders and S. Wilmington Street frontages.
Please attend one or both sessions to learn more about the study recommendations that aim to transform our southern gateway corridors to make them safer, more vibrant, and walkable with proposed improvements to transportation/transit, urban form, and streetscapes.
