PULLEN ARTS CENTER IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Pullen Arts Center public meeting

2nd Public Meeting | Tuesday, January 12, 6-8pm
Pullen Community Center, 408 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh

Please join us for our second public meeting and share your thoughts. We love your input!

The 2014 Parks Bond Referendum allocated $6 million for improvements to Pullen Arts Center and North Pullen Park. In the second of three public meetings, the City of Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department will present diagram options developed by the project’s architect and landscape architect in response to the input we received at the first public meeting in October.

Want to learn more about the project? Check out the project page to find out what’s happening now and what’s coming soon.

Phase 1: Conceptual Study, which runs through March 2016
Phase 2: Design and Implementation, which lasts about 2 years

PARKING LIMITED AS THE NORTH PARKING LOT UNDERGOES CONSTRUCTION

The sights and sounds of construction are getting ready to get a little bit closer to Pullen Arts Center as the former NCSU Chancellor’s residence on the east side of Pullen Arts Center gets a little closer to becoming the Gregg Museum of Art & Design.

Part of the plan for the new Gregg Museum includes the construction of new vehicular access between Pullen Arts Center and the Gregg Museum. In order to create this vehicular access, Pullen Arts Center’s north parking lot (the lot closest to Hillsborough Street) will be closed for approximately 3-4 months, beginning in December if weather permits. Please bear with us as we will be short on parking for a few months.

Thank you, as always, for your support of Pullen Arts Center!
