Programming Notice: NHCTV goes digital on Time Warner Cable

​(New Hanover County, NC) - Time Warner Cable has moved New Hanover County Television (NHCTV) Channel 13 to the digital tier. For subscribers who have a digital television set and no converter box, Channel 13 may now be found on Channel 16.10 or 16-10, depending on your set's display.

To find these channels, one may need to use the TV's remote, look through the menu, and have it scan all digital channels.

NHCTV remains at the same place on the dial for those who have converter boxes, and those with older TV sets will need to obtain a digital adaptor to receive Channel 13. To request a digital adaptor, call Time Warner Cable at 1-855-286-1736.

Cable customers of Charter will not be affected and will continue to receive NHCTV on Channel 5. Also, the video streaming of NHCTV on the County website remains unaffected at www.nhcgov.com/NHCLive​.

NHCTV's role in providing useful and transparent information on County government remains an important one. Numerous government meetings are aired on NHCTV. Those meetings include the Board of County Commissioners, the New Hanover County Planning Board, and the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority. Other featured programming includes Coastal Gardner, Inside Out and Cape Fear Critters, Leading By Results, and countless public service announcements on County events and services.
