Announces New Principal
Cumberland County Board of Education
Approves New Principal Recommendation
Fayetteville, NC – Following the recommendation of Cumberland County Schools (CCS) Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr., the Cumberland County Board of Education approved a new principal during Tuesday evening's Board meeting. Heidi Hudson, who currently serves as an assistant principal at Stoney Point Elementary School, will be the new principal of Stedman Primary School.
Hudson's career with CCS began in 2009 as a second-grade teacher at Eastover-Central Elementary School. She received her master’s degree in school administration in 2012. With over 17 years of experience in education, she also has experience in administrative functions, compliance, instructional planning and teacher development. According to Hudson, she has a strong ambition towards promoting leadership and academic excellence.
