Principal Transfer Announcement:
April Thomas Appointed Principal of
Eastover-Central Elementary School

Fayetteville, N.C. – Cumberland County Schools (CCS) Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr. recently announced the appointment of April Thomas as the new principal of Eastover-Central Elementary School, effective January 2024.

Thomas brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role, having served as the principal of Stedman Primary School since July 2015. Her extensive career in education spans various roles, including a significant tenure as the assistant principal at Vanstory Hills Elementary and Stedman Elementary, where she also worked as a Remediation Teacher. Thomas also served as EC Teacher and Case Teacher from 2005-2009.
