Announces
New School Principals
Fayetteville, NC - During this evening's monthly School Board meeting, the Cumberland County Board of Education announced the following new school principals:
- Timberly Jones will serve as the new principal of Westarea Elementary School. She currently serves as the assistant principal at Warrenwood Elementary School.
- Sharley Ditmore will serve as the new principal of Max Abbott Middle School. She currently serves as the assistant principal at Spring Lake Middle School.
- Shawn O'Connor has been selected to be the new principal at South View Middle School. He currently serves as the assistant superintendent of Human Resources in Hoke County Schools.
- Marcus Stewart will serve as the new principal at Sunnyside Elementary School. He currently serves as an assistant principal at Pine Forest High School.
- Rachel Andress has been selected as the new principal at William H. Owen Elementary School. She currently serves as the assistant principal at Massey Hill Classical High School.
- Amanda Hefner will serve as the new principal at Margaret Willis Elementary School. She currently serves as the assistant principal at Ben Martin Elementary School.
- Ebony Forte-Johnson has been selected to serve as the new principal at Manchester Elementary School. She currently serves as the assistant principal at Gray's Creek Middle School.
- Brooke Griffie will serve as the new principal at Beaver Dam Elementary School. She currently serves as an assistant principal at Cape Fear High School.
