Detour: Inclement Weather - Routes 40x, 46x, 53x, 54x, 61x, 64x, 65x, 80x & 88x

All Express and Regional Express Routes
CATS would like to remind customers that as inclement weather makes its way through Charlotte, the Charlotte Area Transit System’s (CATS) website at www.ridetransit.org has the most up-to-date detour information.
Passengers are encouraged to check CATS website to determine if their express bus route has weather related detours. While inclement weather may delay scheduled service, only bus routes with detours or route changes will be included in the Inclement Weather Alert.
CATS has several local bus routes that provide bus service along portions of an express bus route. Passengers who may need to travel outside the regularly scheduled express bus times are encouraged to use bus stops and/or park and ride facilities which are also served by local bus routes. This will also provide express riders with more transit options.
