Discontinuation of Route 78x Celanese Express  


On July 1, 2011, the Route 78X Celanese will no longer provide express bus service between the Celanese Corridor in Rock Hill and the I-485/South Blvd LYNX Station. This decision was made due to the discontinuation of funding resources.  

Passengers desiring to travel between Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC may utilize the Route 82X Rock Hill Express.  Passengers may connect to the LYNX Blue Line at the CTC/Arena Station in uptown Charlotte.  The 82X has park and ride lots at Rock Hill City Hall, the Manchester Cinema, Baxter Village, and the Plaza Fiesta Carolina.  CATS encourages passengers and community members to visit www.ridetransit.org or call 704-336-7433 for schedule information.
