Every year, we like to pause and say thanks to our customers. We view them as our partners in building a safe and thriving Mecklenburg County.

Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement is charged with saving lives and preventing injury by ensuring building code compliance. It inspires us when our customers dedicate themselves to that goal as well.

For the fourth year, we gathered at the Mecklenburg County Building Development Commission meeting to thank a few of the many customers who dedicate themselves to code-compliant, sustainable building and development. We call them our Code Heroes:

July Building Consistency Meetings Canceled

The July commercial and residential building consistency meetings will be canceled due to their close proximity to the holiday. County offices will be closed on Wed., July 4. 

Other trade consistency meetings will continue as scheduled. Building consistency meetings will resume in August.
