Accela Unavailable for Weekend Beginning January 12, 2018

Land Development’s Accela application will be down for maintenance starting Friday, January 12, 2018.  The system will be down for the entire weekend and will be up Monday morning, January 15, 2018.  During this time, no one will be able to create or view applications as well as submit plans.

Electronic Plan Submittal for Donated Water and Sewer Projects

Beginning January 1, 2018, Charlotte Water’s Installation and Development Services Team will require all Donated Water and Sewer Project plans be submitted electronically through Accela Citizen Access at https://aca.accela.com/charlotte/.  Paper plans will no longer be accepted.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Erosion & Sedimentation Control Training Winter Seminar

A Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control overview seminar and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector (CMCSI) class will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Mecklenburg County Offices at 2145 Suttle Avenue, 4th Floor, Charlotte, NC.    

Applications to register for the January 10th Seminar can be downloaded from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector website.

DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TECHNICAL ADVISORY (DSTAC) COMMITTEE: Meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month in Room 136 of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC) from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

STORM WATER ADVISORY COMMISSION (SWAC) MEETING: Meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm at the Mecklenburg County Offices at 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC.

TREE ADVISORY COMMISSION: Meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC) beginning at 5:00 pm.


The City of Charlotte will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 25th and 26th.
