The Charlotte Land Development Standards Manual (CLDSM)
Committee determined that updates are required to various City land development
standard details. Throughout the month of July, a PDF file of the
draft revised details is available for download from the CLDSM webpage
at http://charlottenc.gov/cldsm for
public review and comment. Prior to the proposed effective date of July 31st, 2017,
please provide any feedback or comments on the proposed changes via e-mail to
Brendan Smith, E&PM Land Development Division at bmsmith@charlottenc.gov.
Also - if you haven’t already, be sure to click the “Notify Me” icon at the top
of the page http://charlottenc.gov/cldsm to add your e-mail
address to the notification list for to stay up to date on future announcements
and revisions of the standards manual.
A Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control overview seminar and
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector (CMCSI) class will be held on
Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Mecklenburg County Offices at 2145 Suttle
Avenue, 4th Floor, Charlotte, NC.

DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TECHNICAL ADVISORY (DSTAC) COMMITTEE: Meetings
are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month in Room 136 of the
Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC)
from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
STORM WATER ADVISORY COMMISSION (SWAC) MEETING:
Meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm at
the Mecklenburg County Offices at 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC.
TREE ADVISORY COMMISSION: Meetings are typically
held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Charlotte Mecklenburg
Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC) beginning at 5:00 pm.
