April 2017
Surety estimates are calculated based on what the customer
selects on the Surety Preferences Selection Form. The customer has the
choice of having the surety calculated with (1) no credit for completed work,
(2) credit for completed work or a (3) deferral of the calculation until the
City is notified that the customer is ready for the estimate. Any
form submitted without the selection of a surety preference cannot be processed.
Once a surety estimate is calculated in accordance with the selected option on the Surety Preferences Selection Form, any subsequent request for a surety calculation adjustment will be subject to a surety adjustment fee. Effective April 17th, the surety adjustment fee of
$550.00 will be assessed for all surety estimate adjustments. A Surety Action Request Form requesting the
adjustment must be submitted with the fee.
