What past participants are saying
This was a phenomenal training! The ladies were well prepared, extremely knowledgeable, and engaging.
Wonderful presenters, appreciate that they based the presentation on their real experiences in the classroom, instead of giving a bunch of theory.
The best PD opportunity I have had. So much information that is applicable to my classroom. Thank you so much for providing this.
This training contained so much vital information that I have already implemented and will continue to implement into my daily teaching. I love that I can access and look back to the slides and handouts for extra support. I think this training would be amazing for gen-ed teachers.
I love their presentation style; lots of humor, realistic views, and insights. So good.

What people are saying about our keynote speakers
Ben's presentation will bring you through a roller coaster of emotions. Yes, it is extremely funny, but there are also points that touch your heart and speak to you, like the phrase 'be the one.' It also gives you an inside perspective into the shoes of someone with autism and how it can affect the life of anyone, portraying the message that it is important to be kind.
Ben reminded me of why I chose this field, and will continue to be the one for my students!
Dr. Ross Greene’s work has profoundly shaped how so many of us think about kids’ behavior and what they actually need from the adults in their lives.
My favorite part of Dr. Greene’s technique is that each of the steps of this process involve teaching important life skills to our children.
I appreciate how the Social Thinking Methodology link social intent/thinking and the common core or school based standards. This connection is so crucial to every member of a student's school community.
I love how realistic Michelle Garcia Winner's and the Social Thinking approach is, and doable! Based on real clinical experience adaptable to individual needs/strengths. Great that all vocabulary is simple, easy to understand, and not full of professional shop talk.

Montana school districts will soon have access to MAEP scholarship-supported participation in the STAR Autism Support Network. This project is an extension of the STAR Capacity Building Project piloted by Kalispell Public Schools during the 25/26 school Year. The STAR Autism Support Network is an initiative focused on building sustainable, district-level capacity for serving students with autism. These scholarships provide team-based training and coaching that strengthen the use of evidence-based practices, reduce reliance on individual specialists, and promote long-term sustainability across schools. The application window will open soon, with priority given to districts committed to developing internal capacity across classrooms and staff roles. |
