The 2003 Montana Legislature created this council to advise and make recommendations to the Governor on ways to improve and develop services for people with brain injuries and their families, including coordination of services between public and private entities. The council also was charged with encouraging and stimulating research, public awareness, education, and prevention activities.
We are inviting two additional council members to join the Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council. We are specifically seeking individuals with lived experience, either a person who has sustained a brain injury or a parent or caregiver of a child with a brain injury.
