 Title Allocations Update
Title II A, III, and IV A allocations are now uploaded into E-grants! Districts can now work on completing their applications with all of their funding included on their program selection page. Once accepted, the funding will be visible on the funding page as well.
To assist districts in finalizing their applications, the Federal Programs Team will offer a webinar event on Thursday September 4th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. We encourage all interested parties to attend. The event will be recorded and saved on the Federal Programs website for those who are unable to attend.

REMINDERS:
TITLE III
ALL initial student enrollments must include a Home Language Survey (linked HERE). The Home Language Survey is used to determine if there is/are language(s) other than English that may be used in the home which could affect their academic progress and entitle them to additional services.
There is a 30-day timeline from the start of the school year to review Home Language Surveys, screen students using the WIDA Screener, determine programs/services to meet identified English Learner students’ needs, and notify parents of assessment results and services.
Resources and Guides for English Learner Programs are on the OPI Website and linked HERE
Registration for WIDA’s Annual Conference is OPEN! The conference is offered both virtually (10/27) and in-person (10/28-10/30 in Seattle, WA)
