 FEMA Training for Rural Schools
In early June Box Elder Public Schools brought in trainers from FEMA to conduct a two day training titled “Crisis Management for School Based Incidents for Key Decision Makers” with an emphasis on rural schools. Attendees included nearby rural schools, early education agencies, law enforcement, and first responders. Thank you to Box Elder Public Schools for hosting this training and for being so hospitable (delicious lunch and snacks!) to those in attendance.
If you missed this in-person training but want to hear from experts in the field of school safety, the U.S. Secret Service is hosting free virtual trainings on July 16, September 17, and November 19.
