EANS (Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools)
This relief funding is designated to provide services and assistance to eligible non-public schools to address educational disruptions caused by COVID-19. In Montana, Non-Public Schools include homeschool families and private schools.
LOOKING AHEAD:
All funds for EANS were to be expended no later than September 30, 2024. OPI retained FACTS Solutions (EANSfunds@factsmgt.com) to assist in managing the EANS Grant procurement process. FACTS sent out a request for inventory status, if you have not received that email contact your FACTS Team Representative.
Ongoing Resources:
Many resources supporting public and nonpublic families, can be found through the OPI Parent Resource page. Some of these resources include Dyslexia resources, the Montana Content Standards, Montana Digital Academy (online portal of course), Dual Enrollment (over 3000 courses at 15 college campuses available to high schoolers), EdReady (self-paced reading and math focus online programming), and Broadband page of the OPI website.
There are many Legislative Bills that impact public and nonpublic schooled children and families. Legislative Guide and Information is one place on the OPI website where descriptions and resources can be found. Charter School information can also be found on the OPI site and also on the Board of Public Education site under two headings: Public Charter Schools and School Choice.
